## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MISHAP PILOT DEPARTED CREVE COUER AIRPORT (1HO) AT 11:00 AM CDT AND CRASHED AT 11:11 CDT NEAR THE KATY TRAIL PARKING LOT OFF OF JUNGS STATION ROAD IN ST. CHARLES, MO. ACCORDING TO WITNESSES, THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED INVERTED THEN DESCENDED STRAIGHT INTO THE GROUND. EXAMINATION OF THE WRECKAGE SHOWED CONTROL CONTINUITY OF THE ELEVATOR AND RUDDER TO THE REAR COCKPIT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOO BADLY DAMAGED TO DETERMINE AILERON CONTINUITY. THE RECORDING "G" METER IN THE REAR COCKPIT INDICATED FORCES OF 8.7 POSITIVE AND 3.0 NEGATIVE. THE WEATHER WAS VFR. THE PLANE IMPACTED THE GROUND NEARLY PERPENDICULAR.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
