HE ATTEMPTED A GO AROUND, HOWEVER HE WAS UNABLE TO ACHIEVE SUFFICIENT LIFT. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN IN A GRASSY, ROCKY AREA AND CAME TO REST 581 FEET FROM THE INITIAL TOUCHDOWN SPOT. ONCE ON THE GROUND, THE NOSE LANDING GEAR DETACHED FROM THE AIRCRAFT AND SUBSEQUENTLY THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS RETRACTED IN ITS WHEELWELL. THE CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE RESPONDED. NO INJURIES WERE INCURRED. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
