## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT WAS ONLY ON HER SECOND SOLO FLIGHT AND WAS RELEASED ON A CROSS COUNTRY FROM FOR PIERCE TO THE OKEECHOBEE AIRPORT. ON HER FIRST LANDING SHE HIT THE NOSE WHEEL ON THE RUNWAY CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO BOUNCE INTO AIR. ON THE SECOND IMPACT THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSE AS THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB MIA08CA113](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/MIA08CA113), Jun 6, 2008: Cessna 152 (N6173L), Okeechobee, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The student pilot's improper recovery from a bounced landing.
