## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING APPROACH TO THE RUNUP AREA THE PILOT REDUCED POWER TO IDLE AND APPLIED BOTH BRAKES. THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT. THE PILOT STOPPED APPLYING BOTH BRAKES AND APPLIED RIGHT BRAKE AND FULL RIGHT RUDDER. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TURNING LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED OFF THE HARD SURFACE OF THE TAXIWAY AND CAME TO REST IN A DITCH. THE NOSE TIRE ASSEMBLY SHEARED OFF AND THE PROPELLER STRUCK THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE DITCH. HE CONTINUED FULL RIGHT RUDDER UNTIL THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST WITH NO EFFECT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
