THE AIRCRAFT STALLED AND THE LEFT WING DIPPED AND STRUCK THE GROUND THE ENGINE AND PROPELLER WERE TORN FROM THE FUSELAGE, ALSO THE NOSE GEAR ASSEMBLY AND LOWER COWLING WAS BROKEN AWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT MAIN GEAR WITH THE TAIL ON THE GROUND. THE AIRCRAFT WAS DETERMINED TO BE DESTROYED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB MIA08CA120](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/MIA08CA120), Jun 15, 2008: Beech S35 (N83LP), Creola, AL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's inadequate fuel calculations resulting in a total loss of engine power due to fuel exhaustion.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
