## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JUNE 16TH, 2008 AT APPROXIMATELY 1330 CENTRAL TIME, AIRCRAFT CONTROL WAS LOST WHILE PERFORMING A MANEUVER KNOWN AS THE VERTICAL TORQUE ROLL. THE AIRCRAFT PERFORMED A TAIL SLIDE FOLLOWED BY A “FLOP” BACK TO LEVEL FLIGHT. ACCORDING TO THE PASSENGER THE AIRCRAFT THEN STARTED TO ROLL LEFT AND RIGHT, LEFT AND RIGHT. THE PILOT YELLED THAT HE WAS HAVING CONTROL PROBLEMS AND ORDERED THE PASSENGER, WHO WAS EQUIPPED WITH A PARACHUTE, TO BAIL OUT. THE AIRCRAFT WRECKAGE WAS LOCATED IN A WOODED AREA INVERTED. THE PILOT WAS FATALLY INJURED AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS DESTROYED.
