## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS PROBABLY HIGH ON FINAL WITH TWO NOTCHES OF FLAPS. THE AIRPLANE FLOATED FOR A WHILE BEFORE LANDING. BOUNCED UPON LANDING, AFTER RECOVERING FROM THE BOUNCE THE PILOT TRIED TO STOP, BUT THE AIRPLANE SLID ON THE DEW COVERED GRASS. BECAUSE OF THE LONG FLOAT AND THE SHORT RUNWAY, THE AIRPLANE SLID OFF END/SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND HIT TREES WITH THE RIGHT WING, THEN TURNED AROUND AND HIT A FENCE WHILE GOING BACKWARD.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
