## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) SEVERAL AIRCRAFT WERE PARKED ALONG THE TAXIWAY IN A LINE ABOUT A FOOT INTO THE GRASS. THE TAXIWAY IS 30' WIDE AND PARALLEL TO THE ACTIVE RUNWAY. THE WINGSPAN OF THE AIRPLANE IS 35', THE WIDTH OF THE LANDING GEAR IS 10'. THE PILOT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE CENTER OF THE RIGHT HALF OF THE TAXIWAY RATHER THAN 3' FROM THE CENTERSTRIPE OF THE TAXIWAY. HAD HE BEEN 3' FROM THE YELLOW STRIP HIS WING TIP WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER THE EDGE OF THE PAVEMENT. IF HE DEVIATED MORE THAN A FOOT HE WOULD HAVE STRUCK A PARKED AIRPLANE, WHICH HE DID. WHEN HE STRUCK THE FIRST AIRPLANE, IT TURNED HIM A LITTLE AND HE STRUCK THE SECOND ONE WITH MORE OF HIS WING WHICH TURNED HIM INTO THE THIRD PARKED AIRPLANE, ALLOWING HIS PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE WING OF IT.
