## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) STUDENT PILOT SOLO CROSS-COUNTRY OPERATIONS. PILOT WAS TAXIING FROM ONE FBO TO ANOTHER AND WAS MANEUVERING IN A TIGHT AREA BETWEEN A PARKED AIRCRAFT ON ONE SIDE AND A FENCE ON THE OTHER SIDE. HE DID NOT FOLLOW THE CENTER TAXI STRIPE AND STRUCK A CHAIN LINK FENCE POST WITH HIS LEFT WINGTIP HARD ENOUGH THAT THE MOMENTUM SWERVED THE NOSE OF HIS AIRCRAFT SUFFICIENTLY TO CAUSE THE PROPELLER TO STRIKE THE FENCE AND STOP ALL AIRCRAFT AND ENGINE MOVEMENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
