## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JUNE 27, 2008 N991PT, ON MODEL N3N AIRCRAFT, WAS BEING FLOWN FROM WACO, TEXAS TO CHINO, CALIFORNIA, WHEN THE PILOT OF THE AIRCRAFT CHOSE THE AIRPORT IN ODESSA, TEXAS (ODO) AS A FUEL STOP AND LANDED ON A CLOSED RUNWAY. UPON LANDING THE AIRCRAFT HIT A BARRICADE DAMAGING THE LEFT LANDING GEAR WHEEL, AND HIT A SECOND BARRICADE WHICH FOLDED THE LEFT GEAR LEG UNDER THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP ON THE EDGE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT AND SINGLE PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED. THERE WAS ONLY MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
