## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AT APPROXIMATELY 1400 EDT ON 6/29/2008 A CESSNA 425 REGISTRATION N425WD OWNED BY WMD HOLDINGS LLC WHILE LANDING AT DANBURY, CT ON RUNWAY 26 HIT A RUNWAY LIGHT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED. ON 7/1/08 PERSONNEL FROM THIS OFFICE EXAMINED N425WD WHICH WAS PARKED AT BUSINESS AIRCRAFT CENTER AT DANBURY. EXAMINATION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED IMPACT DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT ENGINE PROPELLER AND A 4 INCH BY 2 INCH PUNCTURE IN THE RIGHT SIDE FUSELAGE IN LINE WITH THE PROPELLER. ALSO, THERE WWAS IMPACT DAMAGE ABOVE THE PUNCTURE. BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT MAIN GEAR BRAKE ASSEMBLIES HAD GRASS PROTRUDING FROM THEM. THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE NOSE WHEEL SHOWED EVIDENCE OF HAVING BEEN IN THE GRASS. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL FROM RELIANT AIRCRAFT INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND DETERMINED THAT A BINDING ROD END AT THE LEFT ENGINE FUEL CONTROL DID NOT ALLOW THE ENGINE TO GO TO IDLE RESULTING IN AN ASAMETRIC THRUST CONDITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
