## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING LANDING ROLL-OUT, THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED, CAUSING A PROP STRIKE, DAMAGE TO THE LOWER ENGINE COWL, THE LEFT AND RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOORS, THE NOSE LANDING GEAR DOOR AND PROP SPINNER. THE TAIL SECTION WAS TILTED DOWN AND THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO PULL THE NOSE GEAR DOWN AND LOCK IT IN PLACE FOR TOWING TO HANGAR. THE PILOT, WHO IS THE REPAIRMAN/EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT BUILDER (CERTIFICATE^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^) FOR N247MW STATED TO FAA INVESTIGATORS THAT HE MISS RIGGED THE NOSE LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR WHICH LEAD TO THE NOSE LANDING GEAR FAILURE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
