## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

BOTH AIRCRAFT WERE INBOUND TO FLAGSTAFF MEDICAL CENTER AND COLLIDED IN MIDAIR 1/4 MILE SOUTH OF HOSPITAL HELIPAD. THE POINT OF IMPACT WAS WHERE EACH HELICOPTER WOULD BE TURNING FINAL FROM OPPOSING BASE LEGS AT APPROXIMATELY 300-400' AGL. THERE WERE COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN EACH AIRCRAFT AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DISPATCH OFFICES, EACH AIRCRAFT AND THE MEDICAL CENTER, AND BETWEEN BOTH COMPANY DISPATCH OFFICES ALTHOUGH THERE WERE NO RECORDED CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO AIRCRAFT. INFORMATION REGARDING THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF HIS ACCIDENT ARE BEING SHARED WITH AFS, AIR, AND HEMS TO STUDY ACTIONS TO MITIGATE FUTURE EMS ACCIDENTS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)
