## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) INCIDENT NUMBER ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AS REPORTED, DURING TAKEOFF, AT APPROXIMATELY 10 FT AGL, THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED DIFFICULTY WITH THE LEFT ENGINE. THE PILOT DECIDED TO LAND, TOUCHED DOWN HARD, AND BOTH NOSE GEAR BAGGAGE DOORS CAME OPEN ALLOWING A PASSENGER BAG TO EXIT THE BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT AND HIT THE LEFT PROPELLER. TWO BLADES BROKE OFF AND THE RESULTANT VIBRATION BROKE THE PROPELLER GEARBOX OFF THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE. RIGHT INBOARD AFT ENGINE MOUNT BROKEN IN HALF. NO OTHER DAMAGE WAS NOTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
