## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE INCIDENT AIRCRAFT WAS FLYING IN THE LOCAL TRAFFIC PATTERN AT ZAMPERINI FIELD AIRPORT IN TORRANCE, CA. THE PILOT IS A STUDENT PILOT ON HER FIRST SOLO FLIGHT. THE INSPECTION OF THE STUDENT PILOTS LOG BOOK AND CERTIFICATE SHOW THAT THE STUDENT PILOT RECEIVED AN ENDORSEMENT FOR SOLO FLIGHT IN THE CE-172-S ON 08/01/2008 WITH THE FOLLOWING LIMITATIONS; MAXIMUM HEADWING 10 KNOTS, MAXIMUM CROSSWING 5 KNOTS, VISIBILITY 5 NAUTICAL MILES, AND CEILING AT OR ABOVE 5000 FEET. THE STUDENT PILOT TOOK A PRE-SOLO WRITTEN TEST ON 07/24/2008. THE STUDENT PILOT FLYING THE AIRCRAFT WAS INTERVIEWED ON 08/01/2008. DURING THIS INTERVIEW SHE STATED THAT SHE HAD LANDED ON RUNWAY 29R FOR A FULL TOP AND DURING HER ROLL OUT SHE FELT THE LEFT WING RISING AND THE LEFT MAIN WHEEL WAS COMING OFF THE GROUND. SHE ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT THE SITUATION BY PRESSING ON THE BRAKES AND AT THE TIME THE AIRCRAFT TURNED RIGHT AND SHE DEPARTED THE RUNWAY AND CAME TO REST IN A STRAWBERRY FIELD PARALLEL TO THE RUNWAY. INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE NOSE WHEEL FAIRING WITH NO OTHER OBSERVABLE DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
