## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON AUGUST 10, 2008 AT APPROXIMATELY 1628 LCL, A MOONEY M20E AIRCRAFT WHILE LANDING AT AIRPARK DALLAS (F69) AIRPORT, HAD A GEAR UP LANDING WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON RUNWAY 16. THE 89 HOUR PRIVATE PILOT, WHO WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT INJURED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, NOSE GEAR, SKIN-BELLY FAIRING, RIGHT AND LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR CYLINDER AND THE AFT BOTTOM TAILCONE SKIN ASSEMBLY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED FROM THE RUNWAY PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL OF THE INVESTIGATOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
