## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WITNESSES STATED THE AIRCRAFT WAS MISSING, RUNNING ROUGH OR HAD QUIT PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT. INVESTIGATOR ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, NTSB REPORTED THAT ONLY SMALL QUANTITY OF FUEL WAS FOUND IN THE SYSTEM. THE TANKS WERE TESTED BY FILLING THEM WITH WATER AND NO LEAKS WERE FOUND. THE PILOT WAS MAKING SEVERAL 180 DEGREE TURNS PRIOR TO IMPACT AT LOW ALTITUDE. THE AIRCRAFT IMPACTED THE GROUND AT A STEEP ANGLE AND ROTATED AROUND. FURTHER INVESTIGATION WILL BE REQUIRED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE POWER LOSS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
