## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 9/12/2008, AT 1145 MST, WHILE TAXIING TO PARKING SPORT AT WICKENBERG MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (E25) PILOT DID NOT SEE ALUMINUM LIGHT POLE DUE TO SUN IN HIS EYES AND THE AIRCRAFT LEFT WING LEADING EDGE HIT THE POLE AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED. THE PILOT INDICATED HE HAD BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER AIRCRAFT TO MOVE PRIOR TO HIS POSITIONING FOR THE PARKING SPOT. THE DAMAGE TO THE LEADING EDGE WAS 10 INCHES INBOARD OF THE LEFT HAND WING TIP, ABOUT 2 INCHES DEEP AND 6 INCHES WIDE. THE PILOT DID NOT RECEIVE ANY INJURIES, THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE LIGHT POLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
