## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT ATTEMPTED A TOUCH AND GO IN A REMOTE FARMERS FIELD. AFTER TOUCHING DOWN THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK AN INACTIVE ELECTRIC FENCE WIRE. THE PILOT WAS FORCED TO STOP AND UNHOOK IT FROM THE AIRCRAFT NOSE WHEEL. THE PILOT MADE THE DECISION TO REVERSE DIRECTION AND TAKEOFF WITH A TAIL WIND. ON THE TAKEOFF ATTEMPT THE AIRCRAFT UNKNOWING ENCOUNTERED A SECOND INACTIVE ELECTRIC FENCE WIRE. SHORTLY THERE AFTER THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A BARBED FIRE FENCE AT A PERPENDICULAR ANGLE. THE AIRCRAFT FLIPPED END OVER END AND ROTATED 180 DEGREES COMING TO A REST ON IT'S LEFT HAND SIDE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
