## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ACCORDING TO THE PILOT, AS THE AIRCRAFT WAS SLOWING DOWN DURING LANDING, THE LEFT MAIN WHEEL HIT A SMALL "HUMMUCK", OR BUMP ON THE GROUND, FORCING THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT ABOUT TWO FEET INTO THE AIR. AS THE NOSE WAS COMING DOWN, THE TAILWHEEL HIT THE SAME BUMP, FORCING THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT INTO THE AIR. THIS OCCURRED AT SLOW SPEED. AS THE TAIL WENT UP, THE PROPELLER HIT THE GROUND AND THE AIRCRAFT SLOWLY ROLLED OVER ONTO IT'S BACK. THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. THE PILOT, THE ONLY SOLE ONBOARD, WAS UNINJURED.

## NTSB investigation

None matched to this report by aircraft and date. Search the NTSB's own records: https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-main-public/basic-search

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
