## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT STATED: "I WAS ATTEMPTING A POWER OFF LANDING FOR THE FIRST TIME SOLO. SO THE GEAR AND FLAP HANDLING WAS DIFFERENT THAN USUAL. I BECAME FOCUSED ON MAKING THE RUNWAY SO MUCH THAT I FORGOT TO LOWER THE GEAR." SIGNED STATEMENT IS ATTACHED. DURING MY INTERVIEW,THE PILOT SAID HE LOWERED THE FLAPS TO 10 DEGREES AND LANDED AT ABOUT 80 KNOTS. HE DID NOT RECALL HEARING THE GEAR WARNING HORN. DURING AIRCRAFT RECOVERY FROM RUNWAY 32 BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AT TWIN CITY AIROMOTIVE LOCATED IN FITCHBURG, HE SAID: "THE GEAR HORN WAS SOUNDING BEFORE LOWERING THE GEAR."

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
