## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON OCTOBER 9,2008 AT 1635(L), A MOONEY M20R, N1066U, OWNED AND OPERATED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HAD A GEAR-UP LANDING ON A VFR FLIGHT WITH VMC WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAILING. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE PILOT RECEIVED NO INJURIES. THE PILOT HOLDS A PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE. THE VFR FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM SWEETWATER, TX EARLIER THAT DAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
