## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 1, 2008, AT APPROXIMATELY 1600 CDT, THE PILOT OF N7469J, A PIPER MODEL PA-28R, EXECUTED A GEAR UP LANDING TO RUNWAY 17R AT LUBBOCK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KLBB). THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LOWER FUSELAGE, AFT FUSELAGE STEP, NOSE AND MAIN GEAR DOORS AND THE PROPELLER. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED. THE PILOT STATED THAT THE LANDING GEAR HAD BEEN WORKING NORMALLY, HE SIMPLY NEGLECTED TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL JACKED AIRCRAFT UP, LOWERED LANDING GEAR AND TOWED TO MAINTENANCE FACILITY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
