## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT HAD BEEN PRACTICING TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS WITH INSTRUCTOR PRIOR TO FIRST SOLO. THAT PARTICULAR DAY THE STUDENT WAS PRACTICING TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS WITH HIS INSTRUCTOR AND THEN PROCEEDED TO BE SENT SOLO WITH THE SUPERVISION OF HIS FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR. UPON LANDING, THE STUDENTS' FOOT HIT THE BRAKE AND STEERED THE AIRCRAFT INTO THE RUNWAY LIGHTS AND PAPI LIGHTS. ONLY MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRPORT AND AIRCRAFT WAS SUSTAINED. THE WIND WAS NOT A FACTOR, IT WAS LIGHT AND VARIABLE AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
