## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)DUE TO THE LATE NOTIFICATION TO FAA (APPROXIMATELY 5 WEEKS AFTER THE EVENT), THERE WAS LIMITED RELIABLE INFORMATION AVAILABLE REGARDING THIS INCIDENT. IT WAS REPORTED THAT THE AIRPLANE LANDED GEAR UP ON RUNWAY 26 AT LIBBY ARMY AIRFIELD, SIERRA VISTA, AZ. WE CONTACTED THE AIRCRAFT OWNER ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, WHO INDICATED THE AIRCRAFT WAS SOLD TO AN AIRCRAFT SALVAGE DEALER IN MUSTANG, OKLAHOMA ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HAVE BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL. A SEARCH OF AIRCRAFT REGISTRY RECORDS ON 1/15/2009 INDICATES THE AIRCRAFT WAS SOLD BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. THIS MATTER IS CONSIDERED CLOSED. BLOCK 20, NUMBER OF PERSONS ONBOARD IS UNKNOWN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
