## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT WAS CONDUCTING A HIGH SPEED TAXI ON RUNWAY 02 AT THE ODESSA SCHLEYMEYER AIRPORT, IN ODESSA, TEXAS. WITNESSES REPORTED THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET SOUTH OF TAXIWAY E, FLIPPED NOSE FIRST AND CAME TO REST UPSIDE DOWN ABOUT 30 FEET EAST OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE. THE PILOT WAS TAKEN TO MEDICAL CENTER HOSPITAL WITH SEVERE INJURIES TO HIS NECK AND HOSPITALIZED FOR SEVERAL DAYS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
