## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE SUBJECT AIRCRAFT TOOK OFF AT CHAMP FIELD FOR A TEST FLIGHT AFTER BEING REASSEMBLED BY THE OWNER. THE AIRCRAFT ENTERED INTO A LEFT HAND TURN THAT COULD NOT BE STOPPED WITH THE PILOT APPLYING FULL RIGHT SPOILER AND RUDDER OR BY CHANGING POWER SETTING OR WEIGHT SHIFTING. THE AIRCRAFT CRASHED ON THE RUNWAY IN A NOSE LOW, LEFT WING LOW ATTITUDE, DESTROYING THE AIRCRAFT. THE EXPERIENCED PILOT REPORTED ACCOMPLISHING A THOROUGH PRE-FLIGHT INSPECTION. A MISASSEMBLED/MISRIGGED CONDITION WAS LIKELY CAUSED BY THE OWNER NOT HAVING FLIGHT MANUAL OR MAINTENENCE INFORMATION FOR THE AIRCRAFT.

## NTSB investigation

None matched to this report by aircraft and date. Search the NTSB's own records: https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-main-public/basic-search

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
