## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 11/12/2008, AT APPROXIMATELY 2230Z AFTER LANDING ROLLOUT ON RUNWAY 05, NORFOLK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT VIRGINIA, THE ATP RATED PILOT STATED HE NOTICED A PULL TO THE LEFT AND A UNUSUAL NOISE FROM THE LEFT LANDING GEAR AREA. THE PILOT STOPPED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THE LEFT TIRE PARTIALLY SEPARATED FROM THE WHEEL. THE AIRCRAFT WAS THEN TOWED FROM THE RUNWAY. AN INSPECTION BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL FOUND THE TIRE AND TUBE ASSEMBLY UNDAMAGED AND THE LEFT WHEEL FAIRING WITH MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
