## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 20, 2008, 0930 LOCAL, A STUDENT PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ TAXIED A CESSNA 152 (N67753) TO RUNWAY 36. BEFORE TAXING ON TO THE ACTIVE RUNWAY THE PILOT COMPLETED A BEFORE TAKEOFF CHECKLIST THEN PRECEDED ONTO THE ACTIVE FOR TAKEOFF. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT CLIMBING CORRECTLY AFTER ROTATION AND ABORTED THE TAKEOFF. THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RUNWAY, BOUNCED, AND THEN VEERED TO THE RIGHT DEPARTING THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST IN A DITCH TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE WINGS, NOSE GEAR, AND PROPELLER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
