## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN WAS EN ROUTE FROM KLBX TO KGLS WHEN HE NOTICED THAT THE FREQUENCY INDICATORS ON RADIO BEGAN TO FLICKER, HE THEN NOTICED THAT THE AMP WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED AND CONSEQUENTLY LOST COMPLETE POWER. HE CONTACTED HIS MECHANIC VIA CELL PHONE WHO RELAYED TO KGLS TOWER, WHICH WAS IN THE PROCESS OF SHUTTING DOWN, THAT HE WAS INBOUND WITH A TOTAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE. THE TOWER OPERATOR RE-MANNED THE TOWER AND WAS CONTACTED BY THE PILOT THAT HE HAD LANDED GEAR-UP ON THE ACTIVE RUNWAY. THE TIPS OF THE PROPS WERE BENT BACK, AND THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LANDING GEAR DOORS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
