## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 24, 2008, N711TH, A BEECHCRAFT MODEL A-36 AIRCRAFT, DEPARTED MORIARTY AIRPORT (0E0) ENROUTE TO ROSWELL INTERNATIONAL AIR CENTER AIRPORT (KROW). THE PILOT WAS CLEARED TO LAND RUNWAY 17 AT KROW, WHEN THE PILOT NOTICED TOTAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FAILURE ON TURN TO FINAL. DUE TO THE SYSTEM FAILURE THE PILOT DECIDED TO PERFORMED A 360 DEGREE FLIGHT MANEUVER AND PERFORMED A MANUAL EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION. THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO VERIFY IF LANDING GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED THROUGH THE AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR INDICATION SYSTEM. THE PLANE LANDED WITH LANDING GEAR DOWN, BUT ALL THREE LANDING GEARS LEGS COLLAPSED SHORTLY AFTER TOUCH DOWN. THE INITIAL PROPELLER STRIKE WAS APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET PAST RUNWAY 12 AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST APPROXIMATELY 500 FEET PAST RUNWAY 12 ON THE SOUTHEAST SIDE OF RUNWAY 17.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
