As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 5, 2008, N185KS WAS INBOUND FOR LANDING AT ST. LOUIS REGIONAL AIRPORT (KALN) WITH ONE OCCUPANT ONBOARD. THE PILOT, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS IN CONTACT WITH THE CONTROL TOWER AND RECEIVED A CLEARANCE TO LAND ON RUNWAY 29 WITH THE OPTION OF LANDING "LONG". THE PILOT STATED THAT HIS APPROACH TO THE AIRPORT WAS NORMAL WITHOUT ANY UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES. THE INITIAL TOUCHDOWN POINT OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS APPROXIMATELY 6500 FEET DOWN THE RUNWAY LEAVING APPROXIMATELY 1500 FEET TO TOUCHDOWN. AFTER THE AIRCRAFT LANDED, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE RIGHT WHILE SLIDING ON THE LEFT WHEEL. THE AIRCRAFT THEN NOSED OVER AND CAME TO REST IN AN INVERTED POSITION. THE AIRCRAFT NEVER DEPARTED THE RUNWAY, AND CAME TO REST ON THE RUNWAY. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED AS A RESULT OF THE ACCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE EMPENAGE. DAMAGE WAS ALSO OBSERVED TO THE PROPELLER, LEFT WHEEL RIM, AND SKINS ON THE WINGS OF THE AIRPLANE.
