## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON DECEMBER 9, 2008, AT 1120 MST, THE PILOT OF AIRCRAFT N7802Q WAS FLYING THE VOR APPROACH CIRCLE TO LAND. JUST BEFORE LANDING THE ATC TOWER CALLED FOR THE PILOT TO CHECK GEAR DOWN. THE PILOT ADDED POWER AND WENT AROUND STRIKING THE PROPELLERS ON THE GROUND. THE PILOT CONTINUED TO FLY THE PATTERN, LOWERED THE GEAR AND LANDED NORMALLY. THE PROPELLERS RECEIVED THE ONLY DAMAGE. THERE WAS NO AIRFRAME DAMAGE OR INJURIES TO THE PILOT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
