## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT AND PILOT-RATED PASSENGER DEPARTED MIDWEST NATIONAL AIR CENTER, MOSBY MO AIRPORT (GPH) ENROUTE TO MACON, MO (K89). ABOUT 15 MILES FROM DESTINATION, THE OIL PRESSURE BEGAN DROPPING. THE PILOT ELECTED TO DIVERT TO CHILICOTHE, MO, (CHT). AT APPROXIMATELY 2500 FEET AND TWO MILES FROM THE AIRPORT THE ENGINE QUIT AND THE PILOT PERFORMED AN OFF-AIRPORT LANDING IN A FIELD. NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME OR THE OCCUPANTS. INCIDENT NUMBER ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
