## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT LANDED ON A GRASS RUNWAY OF APPROXIMATELY 150 DEGREES DIRECTION WITH A RIGHT QUARTERING HEADWIND. DURING ROLLOUT ON THIS LANDING THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT. THE RUNWAY HAS A SLIGHTLY RAISED CENTER PORTION IN ORDER TO SHED RAIN WATER. WHEN THE CHAMP EXITED DOWNHILL OFF OF THIS RAISED PORTION OF THE RUNWAY THE PILOT APPLIED HARD BRAKING CAUSING THREE PROP STRIKES AND THE AIRCRAFT NOSE SPINNER TO HIT THE GROUND. THIS RESULTED IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, SPINNER, COWLING AND ENGINE BAFFLINGS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
