## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 18, 2008, 1228 HOURS, AN ORLIK PZL-130T, N450KM, PREPARED FOR LANDING AT COLORADO SRINGS, COLORADO. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ REPORTED A WATER BOTTLE DETACHED FROM ITS STORAGE LOCATION, AND LODGED IN THE REAR COCKPIT LEFT RUDDER PEDAL. AIRCRAFT TOUCH DOWN WAS IN THE LEFT HALF OF THE RUNWAY TO ALLOW FOR THE EXPECTED RIGHT TURNING OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT ENTERED THE WEST SIDE OF THE RUNWAY STRIKING A SIGN WITH THE LEFT WING TIP CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE. RUNWAY CONDITIONS WERE DRY. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
