## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 12-23-2008 AT APPROXIMATELY 12:25 PM, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LANDED ON RUNWAY 28L AT MONTGOMERY FIELD (KMYF) WITH THE LANDING GEAR IN THE UP POSITION IN A PIPER ARROW III. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS ALONE IN THE AIRCRAFT AND FLYING FROM THE RIGHT SEAT PRACTICING FOR A CFI CHECK RIDE SCHEDULED FOR LATER THAT DAY. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS NOT INJURED, AND THE AIRCRAFT DAMAGE WAS CLASSIFIED AS MINOR. I SPOKE TO THE TOWER SUPERVISOR AT MONTGOMERY FIELD ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ TOLD ME THAT HIS TOWER PERSONNEL HAD A "GEAR SAVE" WITH THIS SAME AIRCRAFT AT 10:06 AM THE SAME DAY. I ASKED ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ IF HE WAS THE PILOT IN COMMAND AT THAT TIME. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SAID YES. SEE BLOCK # 43.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
