## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON DECEMBER 31, 2008 AT APPROXIMATELY 2224 CDT, N310CM, A CESSNA 310, CONTACTED LUBBOCK ATCT ADVISING OF AN UNSAFE GEAR INDICATION AFTER THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED LUBBOCK (KLLB) AND DID NOT GET A GEAR UP INDICATION. THE PILOT RESET THE LANDING GEAR INDICATOR CIRCUIT BREAKER. THE NOSE AND LEFT GEAR DOWN INDICATOR ILLUMINATED BUT THE RIGHT GEAR STILL INDICATED AN UNSAFE CONDITION. THE PILOT REQUESTED A FLY-BY AND THE TOWER INDICATED THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE EXTENDED. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO MANUALLY EXTEND THE GEAR, THE GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED UNEVENTFULLY. THE PILOT, ALSO A MECHANIC, FOUND A FAULTY MIRCO SWITCH AND BROKEN WIRE ON THE RIGHT GEAR. HE REPAIRED THEM AND CONTINUED ON HIS FLIGHT THE NEXT DAY. NO INJURIES OR AIRCRAFT DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
