## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHEN THE MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS SELECTED DOWN FOR LANDING, A GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE PILOT FOLLOWED THE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND A FLY BY OF THE ATC TOWER AT MDH WAS CONDUCTED WHERE THE CONTROLLERS INFORMED THE PILOT THAT HIS GEAR LOOKED NORMAL. CONTINUING TO FOLLOW THE AIRCRAFT'S EMERGENCY PROCEDURES THE PILOT LANDED AND ON ROLL OUT AT MDH THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AFTER THE AIRCRAFT HAD TRAVELED SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET. THE ENGINE WAS STILL RUNNING AT THE TIME THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED RESULTING IN BOTH DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND AN ENGINE SUDDEN STOPPAGE INSPECTION. THE AIRFRAME RECEIVED SHEETMETAL DAMAGE THAT APPEARS TO BE LIMITED TO THE NOSE GEAR DOORS.

Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
