## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT WAS LANDING DURING A TEST FLIGHT OFF OF RENTED PROPERTY APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES DURATION. ONE SKID TOUCHED AND THE PILOT OVER REACTED WITH THE CYCLIC IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND THEN THE HELICOPTER ROLLED OVER ON ITS SIDE CAUSING EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. THE PILOT HAD NOT HAD A FLIGHT REVIEW IN OVER 18 YEARS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN09CA133](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN09CA133), Jan 14, 2009: Brantly B-2B (N2252U), Cement, OK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain proper airspeed and descent rate during approach, which resulted in a hard landing. Contributing to the accident were the nearby power lines.

## Other reports on N2252U (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
