THE DECISION WAS THEN MADE TO DIVERT TO ALB, AND THE ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN. THE SIC STATED THAT AFTER TOUCHING DOWN ON THE RUNWAY, THE BRAKES WERE GENTLY APPLIED AND ALL 4 TIRES LOCKED UP. AIR GEORGIAN V.P. OF MAINTENANCE STATED THAT THIS ENGINE HAD A SIMILAR INCIDENT ON 01/06/2009 IN PROVIDENCE, R.I. AND THE ENGINE WILL BE REPLACED IN ALB PRIOR TO FURTHER FLIGHT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
