## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REPORTED HAVING RUNWAY 24 IN SIGHT APPROXIMATELY 1.2-1.5 MILES OUT WITH FLAT LIGHT, BLOWING SNOW, AND A 30 KNOT CROSSWIND FROM 230. PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS SURE HE WAS LINED UP WITH THE RUNWAY CENTER LINE; MADE AN UNEVENTFUL TOUCHDOWN AND CALLED FOR REVERSE THRUST FROM THE FLIGHT ENGINEER. IT WAS AT THIS TIME THAT HE IMMEDIATELY TOLD THE ENGINEER TO COME OUT OF REVERSE AND APPLIED POWER TO ENGINES #3 AND 4 AS HE REALIZED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS CLOSE TO THE RUNWAY EDGE LIGHTS AND THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR WAS IN A SNOW DRIFT. PILOT STATED THAT HE APPLIED POWER TO BRING THE AIRCRAFT BACK TOWARD THE CENTER LINE WITH OUT RESULT, THE AIRCRAFT SLID OFF THE RUNWAY. ENGINE #4 PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND, THE LEFT WING STILL BLOCKING THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
