## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED IT WAS HIS FIRST FLIGHT AFTER THE ANNUAL INSPECTION. WHILE CONDUCTING PATTERN WORK, HE PERFORMED SEVERAL TOUCH AND GO'S WITH NO PROBLEM, ON THE MANEUVER BEFORE FINAL LANDING, WHILE HE WAS COMING DOWN FOR ANOTHER TOUCH AND GO WITH THE OPTION TO GO AROUND NOTED TACHOMETER RPM WAS NOT INDICATING REDUCTION IN RPM. FLARED FOR LANDING, HEARD SOMETHING SCRAPING, HE THEN DECIDED TO MAKE A GO AROUND. COMPLETED THE GO AROUND AND LANDED SAFELY, UPON EXITING THE AIRCRAFT IT WAS NOTED THAT HE HAD PROPELLER STRIKE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
