## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING AERIAL APPLICATION, THE PILOT NOTICED AN EXCESSIVE EXHAUST STACK VIBRATION FOLLOWED BY SMOKE. AT THIS TIME, THE ENGINE QUIT OPERATING AND THE PILOT JETTISONED THE FERTILIZER AND PREPARED FOR AN EMERGENCY LANDING. THE PILOT HAD LIMITED FORWARD VIEW DUE TO EXCESSIVE SMOKE. AFTER LANDING ON A PARTIALLY PAVED ROAD THE RIGHT LANDING GEAR SLIPPED OFF THE ROAD ONTO A MUDDY SHOULDER CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP OVER INVERTED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED.
