THE WIND REPORTED AT THE TIME WAS 150/21 GUSTING TO 30 KNOTS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CEN09CA179](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CEN09CA179), Feb 25, 2009: Aviat A-1C (N75WY), Denver, CO, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain control during taxi. A contributing factor was the gusty winds.

## Other reports on N75WY (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 20130204000719I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/20130204000719I), Feb 4, 2013: Aviat Aircraft Inc A-1C-180 (N75WY), Labelle, FL, Minor damage. Hard landing, right gear collapsed and propeller struck ground

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
