## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT N906SW FLIGHT NUMBER 6695 DEPARTED DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, DENVER, COLORADO, AND EXPERIENCED SMOKE IN THE FLIGHT DECK AND CABIN DURING ASCENT. THE FLIGHT CREW FOLLOWED THE QRH, DONNED OXYGEN MASKS AND REQUESTED TO RETURN TO DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. AIRACRAFT LANDED ON RUWNAY 34R WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT AND WAS MET BY DENVER FIRE DEPARTMENT (ONE TRUCK) AND DENVER OPERATIONS. NO WATER OR FOAM WAS APPLIED TO THE AIRCRAFT. PASSENGERS EVACUATED THE TWO OVERWING EXITS AND L1 DOOR. CONTACTED SKY WEST CMO AND REQUESTED A FLIGHT PROFILE PACKAGE FROM AIR CARRIER. WILL AMEND WHEN PAPER PACKAGE IS RECEIVED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
