## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 4/13/09 AT 1715 LOCAL TIME WHILE N832MH, A DELTA B767-400 WAS BEING MARSHALLED UNDER POWER TO PARKING ON GATE B45 THE LEFT WING TIP COLLIDED WITH THE RIGHT WING TIP OF ATLATALIA AIRCRAFT EI-DIR, AN A330 PARKED AND BOARDING ON ADJACENT GATE B44. THERE WERE NO INJURIES ON EITHER OF THESE LIVE FLIGHTS. THE LEFT WING WALKER ON THE DELTA AIRCRAFT STATED HE WAS TRYING TO NOTIFY THE MARSHALLER TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT (HE EVEN USED AN ISSUED WHISTLE) BUT THE MARSHALLER DID NOT HEAR HIM. THE MARSHALLER STATED THAT HE LOST VIEW OF THE LEFT WING WALKER AND DID NOT HEAR OR SEE HIM SIGNALING TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT. ACCORDING TO CMO THE COCKPIT CREW, CABIN CREW, DISPATCHER AND GROUND CREW APPLIED FOR AND WERE ACCEPTED INTO THE ASAP PROGRAM. ALL THE INFO MISSING FROM THE 8020-23 REPORT IS UNAVAILABLE DUE TO THE ASAP ACTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
