## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON APRIL 16, 2009 AT APPROXIMATELY 0930 EDT, A ZODIAC 601XL LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT, REGISTRATION NUMBER 454BB, S/N 601-054S, PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS TOUCH AND GO INSTRUCTION TO A STUDENT AT HEG IN JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA. UPON LANDING FOR THE SECOND TIME THE STUDENT HAD THE BRAKES APPLIED. THE AIRCRAFT JOLTED FORWARD AND YAWED TO THE RIGHT, THE STUDENT OVER CORRECTED CAUSING THE LEFT WINGTIP TO STRIKE THE GROUND. THE AIRCRAFT THEN NOSED OVER AND THE PROP STRUCK THE GROUND PRIOR TO COMING DOWN ON THE MAIN WHEELS. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED BY THE PILOT OR STUDENT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
