## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING A TOUCH AND GO OPERATION ON RWY 27 AT KGNB, AFTER THE LANDING, PILOT APPLIED FULL POWER FOR TAKEOFF. AIRCRAFT VEERED LEFT AND LEFT MAIN DEPARTED RUNWAY SURFACE. IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET BACK ON RUNWAY, AIRCRAFT SKIDDED AND VEERED RIGHT, CROSSED RUNWAY TO RIGHT SIDE AND DEPARTED RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST IN INFIELD AFTER RIGHT WING TIP AND PROPELLER STRUCK THE GROUND. DAMAGE TO WING AND PROP. NO INJURIES. AMENDED -23, REVIEWED DAMAGE ESTIMATE AND PICTURES, SPOKE WITH PILOT, AND NTSB INVESTIGATOR THAT LOOKED AT THE AIRCRAFT AND THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT RECEIVE ANY MAJOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. THIS IS BEING CLOSED AS AN INCIDENT BUT PILOT WILL BE REQUIRED TO TAKE SOME REMEDIAL TRAINING AS PRESCRIBED BY THE OPERATIONS GROUP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
