## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT MADE STATEMENT;ON SUNDAY, APRIL 19TH, I MADE A FLIGHT FROM WILLOW TO DENALI NATIONAL PARK. ON MY RETURN TRIP THE SAME DAY I LANDED IN THE TALKEETNA MOUNTAINS. WHEN I LANDED, THE SNOW WAS HARDER THAN I EXPECTED, AND MY TAYLORCRAFT (27740) DID NOT STOP SLIDING AS SOON AS I HAD THOUGHT IT WOULD. JUST AS MY PLANE CAME TO A STOP IT SLOWLY SLID INTO A GULLY WITH SOME ROCKS, BREAKING ONE SKI. MY PASSENGER AND I WERE NOT HURT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
